Australian technology entrepreneur Bevan Slattery has enjoyed multiple business successes over the years.

He has founded/co-founded multiple tech companies including Pipe Networks, NextDC, Subpartners, Superloop, Megaport and most recently Cloudscene.

In 2013 Bevan seized an opportunity to acquire a large high definition stock footage library showcasing the Great Barrier Reef and its amazing wildlife. He partnered with natural history cinematographer Richard Fitzpatrick to form Biopixel, a specialist filming company focusing on capturing the best animal behavioural sequences at the highest definitions possible.

Under Bevan’s strategic leadership and financial support, Biopixel has upgraded its hardware to 8K RED Helium and 4K Phantom Flex high­ speed cameras, moved to the latest generation high ­speed storage mediums and undertaken an extensive process to move its existing tape library to digital storage for easy access.

An avid diver and Rockhampton native, Bevan is passionate about the Great Barrier Reef and North Queensland area. In addition to showcasing the region’s wonders to the rest of the world, Bevan is committed toward supporting conservation efforts to preserve this special part of our globe for future generations.
